Take the bus to Penas Blanca, the Costarican/Nicaraguan border (aprox. price $5) with the bus company Del Du (tel: 2256-9072 or 2677-0091) and drop off in La Cruz. 150 meters east, there is a park with the taxies.

How to get to Playa Papaturro from S.Jose’ Liberia airport: airport is about 70kms away from Bahia Salinas. By bus you need to take the one to Liberia (15 min. $3), then to La Cruz (50 min. $4) and finally to Bahia Salinas/Blue Dream Hotel (30 min. $1). Before you get each of the 3 buses you’ve the chance to wait up to 2 hours, so the trip is cheap but it can be very slow. We can organize the pick up by taxi for $70 or you can rent a car outside the airport
By car:
When you leave the Liberia airport , or the S.Jose' airport, follow the road until Liberia and then until La Cruz,
going toward Nicaragua.
Once you arrive there, turn left and follow the sign to Bahia Salinas. Very soon it will start the unpaved road and after 10 Kms from La Cruz, you'll see the sign and the Hotel on your left. it's easy to find us.
